Autism Spectrum Disorders Program (ASD)
Clinical Care Managers are Licensed Clinicians who provide authorizations for in-home Applied Behavioral Health Analysis (ABA) services. Care Coordinators and Peers provide individual and family supports to ensure members are connected to community providers for in-home ABA services and resources. Care Coordinators and Peers help family gather documentation to confirm eligibility for ASD program. Support families and member facing barriers to coordination of care specific to ABA services.
Eligibility Criteria: Program is specific to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) services.
Members with HUSKY A, C, and D under the age of 21 can receive evaluation, behavior assessment and treatment services.
-An Autism Diagnostic Evaluation (ADE) demonstrating the assessment tools used resulting in a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ADOS, ADI-R, CARS, GARS) completed by Licensed Clinician, MD, APRN or Licensed Psychologist is required.
-If the ADE was completed more that a year ago, a letter by the current treating provider is required to support an ASD diagnosis.
-Release of Information for all providers is required.
-Any HUSKY member is eligible to receive support from an ASD Care Coordinator or Peer.
